The serial number of your piano can be found stamped somewhere on the frame or soundboard. To find out the age of your Story & Clark acoustic grand or upright piano you will need to know the piano's serial number. This is another vertical piano that is 1 inch larger than the 110 at 46 inches. The next largest in size and price is the 118 model. The most affordable Story & Clark piano is a 110, which is a vertical piano model that is 45 inches long. Story and Clark pianos can be dated by the serial number ranges listed below, with the numbers indicating the last piano made each. In 1993 it was taken over by QRS Music Technologies, the descendant of the company founded by Clark in 1900! Pianos with the brand Story and Clark are still being produced, but are no longer manufactured in the US.
